Early Technology Leadership (1983)
The journey began in Minneapolis with the formation of Advance Computer Systems to commercialize MediMan, one of the first comprehensive desktop medical operations and financial systems running on the IBM personal computer.
The lesson learned early: systems must scale with responsibility, not just growth.

Energy Innovation & Market Proof
Through Thermomax USA and later Thermo Technologies, advanced European solar thermal systems were introduced, installed, and proven in the U.S. market—long before solar became mainstream.

Scaling a Durable Operating Company
In 2007, those efforts culminated in the formation of Aurora Energy, Inc., which grew through disciplined execution and strategic acquisition, including Donovan Electric, LLC, into a respected commercial EPC firm.

By 2018, the company was operationally strong enough for a management buyout.
The transition failed—not because of market forces, but because ownership readiness was assumed rather than built.

This experience reshaped everything.
